Who we are

RF Doors is a service of Reading Furniture & Joinery, a bespoke joinery business based in Brookvale, New South Wales. We are the entity responsible for the personal information handled through this app. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

• Contact details you provide — your name, email address and phone number — when you request a quote, save a design, order finish samples, or place an order.
• Order and location details — the postcode or pickup details you enter, and the specifications of the doors you configure (sizes, materials, finishes, hardware, quantities) and the resulting price.
• Payment information — when you pay, your card details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Square. We do not store your full card number on our systems; we receive confirmation of payment and basic transaction details.
• Usage and device data — basic analytics about how the app is used (pages viewed, actions taken, approximate device/browser information), collected to improve the app.

How we use your information

• To prepare your quote and process, fulfil and arrange pickup of your order.
• To contact you about your quote or order — including order confirmations, quote emails, and updates about your job.
• To send you related follow-up emails — such as a reminder if you leave a design unfinished, a follow-up on a quote you requested, or an invitation to review a completed order. You can opt out of these at any time (see “Your choices” below).
• To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
• To operate, secure, analyse and improve the app.
• To meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run RF Doors, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Square — to securely process your payment.
• Jobman — our job-management system, to record and fulfil your order.
• Google (Gmail & Google Analytics) — to send transactional and follow-up emails, and to understand app usage.
• Base44 — the platform that hosts and runs this app on our behalf.
• Where required by law, or to protect our legal rights.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled securely wherever it is processed.

Security & retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit. We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our service and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Your choices & rights

• Access & correction — you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it.
• Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the Delete Account page, or by emailing us.
• Marketing opt-out — you can ask us to stop sending follow-up or marketing emails at any time by replying to any such email or contacting us.
